Managing Your Account Settings

Your account page is your control center for managing profile information, preferences, billing, and privacy settings.

Accessing Your Account

  1. Log in to your account at geoaud.it
  2. Click your profile avatar in the top-right corner
  3. Select "Account Settings" from the dropdown menu

Profile Information

Updating Your Details

  1. Navigate to the "Profile" section
  2. Edit your Full Name in the text field
  3. Update your Email Address if needed
  4. Click "Save Changes" button
  5. Confirmation message appears when saved

Notification Preferences

Customizing Email Notifications

  1. Find the "Notification Preferences" section
  2. Toggle notification types:
    • Email Notifications: Master toggle
    • Audit Completed: Get notified when audits finish
    • Weekly Reports: Receive audit summaries
    • Security Alerts: Account security notifications
    • Newsletter: Product updates and insights
  3. Save preferences - changes take effect immediately

AI Analysis Preferences

Setting Your Default Mode

  1. Locate "AI Analysis Preferences" section
  2. Choose default analysis mode:
    • AI-Optimization Mode: Make content discoverable to AI
    • AI-Defense Mode: Protect content from AI crawling
  3. Click "Update Preferences"

Managing Active Sessions

Viewing Your Sessions

  1. Scroll to "Active Sessions" section
  2. Review logged-in devices showing:
    • Device type and browser
    • Location and IP address
    • Last active time
  3. Current session marked with green indicator

Revoking Device Access

  1. Find session to revoke
  2. Click "Revoke Access" button
  3. Confirm action in popup
  4. Device immediately logged out

Data Export and Privacy

Exporting Personal Data

  1. Find "Data Export & Privacy" section
  2. Click "Export Personal Data"
  3. Wait for processing (10-30 seconds)
  4. Preview data in popup
  5. Click "Download JSON"

Export includes:

  • Profile and preferences
  • Complete audit history
  • Usage statistics
  • All saved audits

Billing Management (Premium Users)

Viewing Subscription Details

  1. Locate "Billing Administration" section
  2. Review subscription overview:
    • Current plan and status
    • Billing cycle and next date
    • Usage statistics

Managing Subscription

  1. Click "Manage Billing" button
  2. Redirected to Stripe Customer Portal
  3. Available actions:
    • Update payment methods
    • Download invoices
    • View billing history
    • Modify subscription
    • Cancel subscription

Account Security

Deleting Your Account

  1. Scroll to "Danger Zone" section
  2. Click "Delete Account"
  3. Read warnings carefully (7-day grace period)
  4. Type "DELETE" in confirmation field
  5. Click "Confirm Deletion"

Note: You can cancel deletion during the 7-day grace period.

Troubleshooting

Common Issues

  • Profile updates failing: Check internet connection, try different browser
  • Missing billing section: Only appears for users with active subscriptions
  • Session management problems: Refresh page, try incognito mode
